February: Snow's in Style

I just love when a plan comes together.  Especially when that plan involves some of Central Vermont's best wedding vendors.  We wanted to focus on Winter Weddings in Vermont and how romantic it can be.  Our classic Vermont setting at the Red Clover Inn was the perfect back drop with vintage touches and jewel tone accents brought to the table by Ehmann Events, literally.

We began our session in the (what I call) the green room as the winds whipped inches of fresh snow outside.  The classic farm table was topped with dramatic floral arrangements, and set with traditional dinner plates accented with vintage floral printed salad plates and fuchsia napkins.  Gold flatware framed each setting perfectly with crystal glassware adding that certain sparkle.

What goes best with a winter wedding theme than a gorgeous champagne lace mermaid dress and a cascading bridal bouquet?!

Set under the oldest apple tree in Vermont - a blue vintage couch, a rustic leather armchair, antique area rug and a ruby side table are situated in/on the snow.  Though it was cold, there was a break in the weather and the set was ready to warm you up with its intimate feel.

Let's add Noellen our natural beauty, and a little fur to bring it all together...

3 words: Bubbles + Blush Ballgown

Noellen was a total trooper marching through the snow and trekking to the beautiful birches.  Her fur wrap gave her a majestic glow, and no, she's never seen Game of Thrones.

Yes, it started to snow!  It set the scene over at the barn so magically featuring a multi-layer designer cake displayed on a vintage sewing table, intertwined with lace and neautral accent flowers.

For a winter celebration: informal elegance with classic touches and neutral tones at the Kings Table with bench seating.  White scalloped dinner plates set on galvanized charger plates with blue hemstitch napkins top the table. Waterford crystal wine glasses, and sleek bistro flatware finish off each setting.

We'll wrap up the session back outside with a custom rustic bar, a kiosk and cocktail table wrapped in natural linen all accented with minimalist florals and a signature drink menu.  An inviting space to order libations that is especially whimsical with the swirling snowflakes.  Cheers!

Hopefully, some inspirational thoughts for a winter wedding came from this session!  Please, check out all of the vendors listed below and let them know what an amazing job they do!!
